Yearbook pictures of the grade 7, 8 and 9 band classes will be taken on Thursday, April 14th.

Band students are asked to please make sure that they bring their instruments and uniforms for the photos. 

Grade 9 students already have their uniforms and wore them for the Remembrance Day assembly. Students in grade 8 are asked to please check tonight to make sure that their uniforms still fit. If the vests or shirts need to be exchanged, please bring them to early morning band tomorrow.

*All students should wear black pants for the photo.

Uniforms will be passed out to Grade 7 students tomorrow (Wednesday).

As was decided at our meeting on Monday, the first Jazz Band rehearsal of the year will be held tomorrow (Friday) from 3:15 until 4:00.

There will be a Grade 7 early morning band rehearsal as usual on Friday and I have corrected the rehearsal schedule that I posted on the blog. Sorry for the extra notification!

Grade 9 early morning band is canceled for tomorrow due to unforeseen circumstances. I hope that we will be able to get back to our regular rehearsal schedule in the gym next week!

Due to the change in the 6 day schedule, the Jazz Band meeting which was scheduled for today will now be held at 12:35 on Monday, April 4th.

Band students who are interested in preparing a Jazz band selection for the spring concert are asked to meet Mrs. Peters in the band room at 12:35 on Monday, April 4th.  There is a sign up sheet in Google Classroom…please add your name and attend the meeting if you’d like to learn more! *The music will be at a second year playing level.
