Grade 7, 8 and 9 band students are reminded that yearbook pictures for band will be taken tomorrow morning. Students are reminded to bring their instruments for the photo

Grade 9’s should wear their uniforms to early morning band practice and the photo will be taken in the gym.

Grade 8 photos will be taken during period 2, so students should wear black pants and be prepared to change into their white shirts and vests when called to the band area.

Grade 7 photos will also be taken during period 2. Quite a few new uniforms needed to be ordered for grade 7’s, so grade 7 students can wear casual clothes (not pyjamas!) for their photo tomorrow. I have distributed band vests to most grade 7 students and hopefully the new white shirts will arrive in time for the spring concert in June (date to be announced).

Washing Uniforms

If you are laundering your band vest PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU WASH IT IN COLD WATER ON THE GENTLE CYCLE AND HANG DRY OR LAY ON A FLAT SURFACE. DO NOT PUT BLACK SWEATER VESTS IN THE DRYER PLEASE.
