Grade 8 early morning band is canceled for tomorrow.

Students are reminded to check Google Classroom for new assignments. Students should practice Drive Time, Ghost Lights, Imperium, The Water is Wide, and Night Fury (once it is handed out in band class this week) in order to prepare for next week’s band rehearsal.

Tuesday: Grade 7 early am Band

Wednesday: Grade 8 early am Band and Honours Band after school (no Jazz Band this week)

Thursday: Grade 9 early am Band *Grade 9 Honours Band members will travel to Birchwood by taxis at 9:00 am for the eastern area sectional day. We will return in time for regular bus pickup at the end of the day.

Students will be given new band music and new individual playing assignments this week, so they should check for details in Google Classroom 🎵

The majority of the Recipes in Jars orders were picked up today. Thank you!

There are 20 orders remaining which we hope will be picked tomorrow (Friday) by 4:00 p.m.:

Grade 7: 9 orders to be picked up

Grade 8: 9 orders to be picked up

Grade 9: 2 orders to be picked up

Please check in at the office if you are picking orders up during the school day tomorrow, and I will have a student bring your jars to the main lobby.

Our Recipes in a Jar have arrived!! We are set up for students to pick up their orders today (Thursday, December 15th). Students with smaller orders have picked them up at lunch, or they can pick them up at the end of the day (to transport home in their backpack or grocery bag). For students with larger orders, we will be set up in the cafeteria and parents can come and collect them after school (3:15 – 5:15).

A new Google Classroom has been added for Grade 9 Honours Band students.

EWS Honours Band students are asked to join the classroom as soon as possible in order to access listening links, PDF sheet music files, as well as rehearsal schedule updates.
