The first band concert of the year will be held on Wednesday, October 30th at 7:00 p.m. at Bluefield High School. This concert will feature the East Wiltshire Grade7, 8, and 9 concert bands, as well as the Bluefield Grade 10 and Grade 11-12 Concert Bands.ย Please mark this date in your calendars…more details for students will follow as the date gets closer!
The East Wiltshire Grade 9 Band has been invited to perform during a local Remembrance Day service on Monday, November 11th (exact time and location to be provided). Please encourage your son or daughter to participate in this meaningful event. A sign-up form has been added in Google classroom.
Students who are interested in learning more about the PEI Provincial Honours Band program are also asked to provide information using the same form.
Students are asked to complete the form no later than this Thursday, October 3rd.
I will be ordering books for Jazz Band students this week. Jazz Band students are reminded to please add their names to the form in Google Classroom by the end of the day on Wednesday to ensure that I have an accurate class list!
Just a quick note about the fundraiser. One of my students pointed out this morning that there is not enough room on the small order forms provided for customer addresses and phone numbers. I think phone numbers would be the priority since each student will be delivering the items to his/her own customers. If the student needs a record of customer addresses he or she could always attach a separate sheet. Thank you!
