I hope that students are enjoying their snow day and that a few instruments made it home to be practiced 😊. Each grade level has a playing test due in January (due dates and details are posted in Google Classroom and PowerSchool).

Rehearsals this week:

Tuesday, January 21st: 7:45 a.m.  Grade 7 early morning band

Wednesday, January 22nd: 7:45 a.m. Grade 8 early morning band 

*Honour Band: 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. (Please be prepared to play through the remaining pieces)

Thursday, January 23rd: 7:45 a.m. Grade 9 early morning band (you will be dismissed a bit early so please plan to arrive in the band area ready to play at 7:45 am)

*Honour Band students will leave for Birchwood by taxi for the sectional rehearsal day following early am band practice. Please note that a delay or cancelation in any part of the province will cause the Honour Band day to be canceled and it will have to be rescheduled. I will send an email to the students and parents involved with more details about the day.

Jazz band is canceled for this week.
